Fully Automatic Case Sealers
Automatic case sealers fold all four top flaps of a box prior to applying tape to its top and / or bottom. These systems greatly reduce labour as boxes are sealed on demand, and apart from the initial set up, do not require operators to run. Our compact designs allow these case sealers to be installed into almost any production line.

Custom case sealers
Sometimes there is a need for something that is out of the ordinary. Loveshaw recognise that not every application is the same. Sometimes a standard case sealer, even with adjustments, will not do the job required. Sometimes a custom case sealer is called for.

Case Sealer FAQs
Q1. What is a case sealer?
A case sealer, also called a box taper or carton sealer, is a machine that applies tape to the top and / or bottom of a cardboard box in order to seal it.
Q2. Who would use a case sealer?
Anyone that packs products into cardboard boxes.
Q3. How does it work?
A case sealer works by driving a box / carton / case through two tape dispensing cartridges. These cartridges apply tape to the top & bottom of the box as it traverses through the machine.
Q4. Why would I use a case sealer?
A case sealer replaces the need to seal/tape a box by hand. Hand taping can be time consuming and wasteful. Taping by hand can result in poorly presented boxes and a seal that may well have been done two or three times because the first time it didn't look right, or the tape went off-centre. A case sealer will reduce the risk of RSI being suffered by the packing operator.
Q5. I tape my boxes by hand, why should I change?
A case sealer will improve your box presentation - it gives consistent sealing. A case sealer will seal your boxes first time EVERY time - improving efficiency. A case sealer will speed up packing time - improving productivity, in short, a case sealer will Save Time, Save Space and Save Money.
Q6. I already use a case sealer from someone else. Why should I change?
Loveshaw Europe's Little David range of case sealers is second to none. The company was founded by the inventor of the first machine to put tape on a cardboard box. The case sealers are compact, simple to operate, easy to maintain and robust. Routine maintenance is absolutely minimal.
Q7. I use an ink jet printer/have to label my boxes, won't a case sealer interfere with this?
No. No reason why it should. As we supply a variety of end-of-line packaging machinery, from Case Erectors & Case Sealers to Case Coders & Pallet Wrappers and Labelling Systems, we appreciate that there are a multitude of end-of-line tasks. In fact most of our case sealers come equipped with brackets for our microjet inkjet printers as standard. We have also brought to market the first combined sealer labeller. With these additions it is simple to combine sealing with direct inkjet printing or apply / print & apply labelling systems. Thus saving time by combining what were, until now, separate and disparate tasks.
Q8. Can I see/trial a machine?
In short, yes. Why not call us and arrange a free no obligation consultation and demonstration. We can save you money. Don't just take our word for it, look at the case studies. See what our customers have to say about us and how we helped them save time and money.
