What is a case sealer?
A case sealer, also called a box taper or carton sealer, is a machine that applies tape to the top and / or bottom of a cardboard box in order to seal it.
Who would use a case sealer?
Anyone that packs products into cardboard boxes.
How does it work?
A case sealer works by using a driving a the box / carton / case through two tape dispensing cartridges. These cartridges apply tape to the top & bottom of the box as it traverses through the machine.
Why would I use a case sealer?
A case sealer replaces the need to seal/tape a box by hand. Hand taping can be time consuming and wasteful. Taping by hand can result in poorly presented boxes and a seal that may well have been done two or three times because the first time it didn't look right, or the tape went off-centre. A case sealer will reduce the risk of RSI being suffered by the packing operator.

No. No reason why it should. As Loveshaw Europe are a one-stop-shop for case sealers, case erectors, case coders and pallet wrappers, we appreciate that there may multiple end-of-line tasks. In fact our case sealers come equipped as standard, with brackets for our Microjet range of Ink Jet Printers. We have also recently brought to maket a combined sealer / labeller. This means that ink jet printing / coding or apply only or print & apply labels as the box passes through the case sealer. Thus saving time by combining the two / three separate tasks.
