If your case sealers are as reliable as you say, why do I need service?
All the packaging machinery we supply is covered by our standard 12 month warranty. Service contracts and extended warranties are also available. The reliability of the Little David case erectors, case sealers, case coders and pallet wrappers is second to none. However, just like a car, a bit of TLC helps to maximise performance.
What would you recommend as a reasonable service interval?
This really depends on the item of equipment and its use. Something that is in use 24/7 will require a different service interval to a case sealer only used on one 8hr shift. However, a definite advantage of Loveshaw Europe is that we use our own in-house service personnel. They have knowledge, experience and training across the whole range. Service intervals are therefore dependant on the range of packaging machinery that a customer actually has.
Will you actually have the parts in stock if / when I need them?
Wear items are easily available. In the unlikely event that an item is not in stock, quick inward delivery via UPS can normally be arranged.
What are the parts most likely to wear out & how often?
Knives & belts are the most likely wear parts. The replacement cycle all depends on usage. Unlike a lot of other case sealers on the market, the Little David knives and belts can be replaced in minutes. Downtime is minimised.
How quickly are spares/parts sent out?
Sock items are normally dispatched within 24hrs of the receipt of an order. Small, parcel post items are delivered via UPS. Customers can choose between next day delivery or three days.
If a machine breaks down, how do I get it fixed, my engineers will not know what to do?
Some customers will have their own service / maintenance engineers. Where this is the case, the Loveshaw Europe service engineers will carry out full on-site training & familiarisation programs. Working with the in-house personnel to ensure that they can deal with any event. If required, site visits can be arranged, but most events can be resolved with a quick phone call.
I have ink jet printers, a case erector and a case sealer. Does this mean that I need to get 3 different service people in, at different times?
No. The Loveshaw Europe service personnel are fully trained in the entire product range. They are highly knowledgeable and a have of years of experience. This means that they are able to deal with different equipment all in one visit. The advantage of the one-stop-shop offer from Loveshaw Europe.
What if I do not have my own service or maintenance engineers?
Complex events may require a customer visit, but a lot of things can be resolved via a quick phone call with the Loveshaw Europe in-house service engineers.
I have an ink jet printer. What do I do if I cannot get it to work?
Again, most issues can be resolved with a quick phone call. In the unlikely case an issue cannot be easily resolved, we run a service exchange program and also an emergency hire program. We do not want customers to be unable to process their cases/boxes or cartons. Downtime costs time & money.
How do I contact the engineers?
Easy. Call Loveshaw Europe & ask for the service department. The phone number is 01264 357 511. |
